How Digital Gates collects, uses and protects personal information provided through this website.

Last updated: 28 September 2026

Who We Are

Digital Gates for Digital Solutions is a software engineering company registered in Amman, Jordan. Where this policy refers to we, us or our, it refers to that company. We decide what personal information this website collects and why, which makes us the controller of it.

We work with clients in the United Kingdom and across the Gulf, so depending on where you are, the UK GDPR or Saudi Arabia's Personal Data Protection Law may apply to how we handle your information. We have written this policy to be straightforward about what happens to what you send us, wherever you are.

If you have a question about any of it, contact us using the details at the end of this page.

What We Collect

We collect what you choose to give us through one of the forms on this site, plus limited technical information needed to run the website and keep those forms usable.

  • Contact form — your name, email address, company, an optional phone number, and the message you write
  • Build your team — your name, email address, phone number, an optional note, and the roles and team sizes you selected while using the tool
  • Careers — anything you send us when applying for a role, including your CV, which reaches us by email rather than through a form on this site
  • Your IP address, which we read from the request in order to limit how many enquiries can be sent from one place and to keep the forms from being abused
  • If you accept analytics cookies, information about your visit such as browser, device type, approximate location and the pages you view

How We Use It

We use what you send us to reply to your enquiry, to assess an application, and to keep a record of our correspondence with you. We use your IP address only to rate-limit submissions, and the bot-check score described below only to decide whether to accept one.

We do not sell personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing, and we do not use anything you send through a form to build an advertising profile.

Keeping Our Forms Secure

Both forms are protected by Google reCAPTCHA. When you submit one, information about your interaction with the page — including your IP address — is sent to Google, which returns a score indicating whether the submission looks automated. We see only that score, never the underlying data.

This runs whether or not you accepted analytics cookies, because without it the forms would be filled by automated submissions within days. Google's own privacy policy and terms govern what it does with that information.

Who Else Handles It

We do not sell or trade your information. A small number of suppliers process it on our behalf, because the site and its forms could not work otherwise.

  • Microsoft — this website runs on Microsoft Azure, and enquiry emails are sent through Microsoft 365
  • Google — reCAPTCHA on both forms, and Google Analytics if you accepted analytics cookies

Where It Is Stored

This website and its enquiry handling run in a Microsoft Azure data centre in Western Europe. Our own team is in Amman, Jordan, so when we read and reply to your enquiry your information is accessed from there.

That means information you send may be transferred outside the country you are in, including outside the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area and the Gulf. Where it is, we put appropriate safeguards in place for that transfer.

How Long We Keep It

We keep what you send us for as long as it is necessary for the purpose you sent it for — dealing with your enquiry and any relationship that follows from it, or running a recruitment process and the period after it during which a related role may come up. When it is no longer necessary, we delete it.

If an enquiry cannot be delivered by email, its contents are recorded in our server log so that your message is not simply lost and we can still come back to you. Those records are held with our hosting provider, are accessible only to the people who maintain this site, and are kept no longer than they are useful.

You can ask us to delete what we hold about you at any time, using the contact details below.

Keeping It Safe

This site is served over an encrypted connection, runs on managed Microsoft Azure infrastructure, and enquiry data is accessible only to the people who need it to respond to you.

No method of transmitting information over the internet is completely secure, so please do not send confidential or commercially sensitive material through the forms on this site. Tell us there is something confidential to discuss and we will arrange a suitable way to receive it.

Your Rights

Depending on where you are, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal information, and to object to certain processing. We will not charge you for exercising them, and we will not treat you differently for having done so.

  • Request a copy of the information we hold about you
  • Ask us to correct information that is wrong
  • Ask us to delete information we no longer need
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interests
  • Withdraw your consent to analytics cookies at any time

Complaints

If you think we have handled your information badly, please tell us first — we would rather hear it directly and put it right.

You also have the right to complain to a data protection regulator. In the United Kingdom that is the Information Commissioner's Office. In Saudi Arabia it is the competent supervisory authority for the Personal Data Protection Law. If you are elsewhere, your local regulator can tell you whether it is able to help.

Cookies And Analytics

Alongside the cookies needed to serve the site, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and move through these pages. It sets cookies in your browser and sends Google a record of the pages you view, along with technical details such as your browser, device type and approximate location. Your IP address is truncated before it is stored.

We use this only to improve the site. We do not use it to identify you personally, and we do not combine it with anything you send us through an enquiry form.

Nothing is set until you agree. The first time you visit we ask, and analytics loads only if you accept — if you decline, no analytics cookies are set and no data is sent. Your choice is stored in your own browser and nowhere else, so clearing your browser data will make us ask again. You can also block these cookies with your browser's privacy settings or Google's opt-out add-on. Declining does not affect any part of the site.

The bot check described above is separate, and runs on form submission whichever choice you make.

Changes To This Policy

When we change this policy we will update the date shown at the top of this page. If a change materially affects how we handle information you have already sent us, we will take reasonable steps to tell you rather than relying on you to notice.
